surf the North Shore. A graduate and former Student Body President of the
University of Hawaii at Hilo, and a graduate of California Western
School of Law, Steve raised his family of two children and practiced law in small
to medium sized law firms on the Big Island from 1978-2004.

His areas of practice included real estate, business, tax and estate planning. He
has also served as Principal Broker for Kohala Ranch, and, as Principal
Broker for the oldest and largest vacation ownership developer in the world,
Fairfield Resorts, Inc. Steve has been a volunteer counselor for over
20 years, and has served three terms as a member of the Board of Directors
of the Hawaii Supreme Court Attorneys and Judges Assistance Program.

In December 2005, Steve Dixon succeeded retiring Director Peter Donahoe as
Executive Director of the Attorneys and Judges Assistance Program, or
AAP. He has also served as a volunteer on the Hawaii Medical Association
Physician's Health Committee, the AAP’s Counter-part organization for
Physicians. Steve served as a Military Intelligence officer in Viet

An avid sailor, and author of a

Voyages of the Ono Jimmy", he has served as Commodore of the Kona
